Bachelor’s degree in education or health-related field.
Recent experience as a sonographer for a minimum of 5 years.
Must be actively credentialed through the ARDMS with all of the following credentials:
Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS)
Adult Echo (AE)
Pediatric Echo (PE)
Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT)
Demonstrated experience as a clinical and/or didactic instructor with in-depth knowledge of subject material to be taught.

Pediatric Echocardiography
Pediatric Echo Lab
Vascular Techniques Scan lab
Echo Technique Scan Lab

Preferred Qualifications:
Master’s degree in Education or health-related field.
ARDMS Fetal Echocardiography (FE) credentials and/or recent experience performing Fetal Echocardiograms.
Summary of Duties:
This position is effective fall semester 2024 pending board approval in May 2024.
The faculty member is responsible for providing professional, quality work as a teaching faculty member.
Work includes facilitating student learning by conducting and teaching courses at the undergraduate level, using active learning methods and a variety of instructional strategies designed to assist the learner in meeting the objectives of the course; assisting student learning; and providing academic assistance to students as needed.
In addition to faculty duties, the faculty member will be assigned to clinical responsibilities including ensuring the quality of clinical experiences and maintaining positive relationships with clinical affiliates and students.
