*What You'll Do:*
The *Blending Machine Operators *follow "recipes" to ensure the customers receive the ideal liquid ingredients to meet their needs.
This involves measuring, use of lifts and cranes, learning processes and following procedures.
Their attention to detail and maintaining safe processes ensure that the best product is shipped daily.
It is critical to success that all governmental and Kerry processes and policies are met and or exceeded.
The successful employees in this role are leaders for other employees and consistently communicates with the production team!
- Operate and monitor machinery in a production environment
- Set up machines (calibration, cleaning, etc.
) to start a production cycle
- Feed raw materials or parts into machines
- Test operation of machines periodically
- Fix issues that might occur during the shift
- Check output to ensure consistency with specifications and quality standards
- Keep records of approved and defective units or final products
- Maintain activity logs
*What You'll Need to Succeed:*
* High School graduate or equivalent required.
* 1 yr.
Manufacturing experience, preferably in a chemical or food processing facility.
* Use of MS products required, SAP software preferred.
Skills:
- Basic math skills for measurements and calculations
- Ability to package finished products for shipment or storage
- Familiarity with food production processes and equipment
- Mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot minor issues
- Understanding of CGMP (Current Good Manufacturing Practices) regulations
- Forklift operation experience is a plus
- Knowledge of food processing techniques and equipment is desirable
- Strong commitment to food safety protocols, including HACCP (Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point) guidelines
This position requires attention to detail, manual dexterity, physical stamina, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
The successful candidate will be a reliable team player with good communication skills.
