*Basic Position Function:*
Building, installing, repairing, and maintaining electrical and electronic systems in an industrial and commercial environment, specifically a chemical facility.
Must be able to work any shift, be available to work overtime, and come in for emergencies.

Reports to the Electrical & Instrumentation Supervisor
*Qualifications:*
Associates degree in electrical or electronics engineering technologies from an accredited college.
Or at minimum 4 years in a certified electricians training program where upon completion candidate received a national Electrical Journeyman’s or Master Electrician license.
2 years minimum experience in an industrial environment.
*Responsibilities:*
Install electrical, communication and I/O equipment:
* RMC, IMC, and EMT conduits
* Cable tray and wire-way
* Familiar with the NEC and NFPA 70E
* Installing and terminating wires and cables
* Instrumentation
* Mounting and installing transformers, switchgear, panels, and other electrical distribution equipment
* Variable frequency drives
* Motors
* Power supplies
* I/O’s, PLC’s, Delta V
* Controls
* Silicon-controlled rectifier
* 12 volts to 480 volts
Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain electrical, communication, and I/O equipment
* Variable frequency drive, Allen Bradley, Powerflex
* Device Net
* Ethernet
* Modbus TCP
* Instrumentation
* Controls
* Distribution equipment
* Allen Bradley Flew I/O
* Delta V
* Silicon-controlled retifiers
* Terminator I/O
* Use 725,475, monometer, Megger and other testing equipment

*Job Skills and Requirements:*
Troubleshooting: Must be able to find the root cause of issues and think logically about solutions.
Critical Thinking: When diagnosing problems, E&I Technician’s must think critically in their process of repairing the issue.
Mechanical Skills: Read blueprints and schematics and use an array of tools and diagnostic devices to service and install electrical equipment.
Must have the ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, schematics, diagrams, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedures manuals.
Ability to write routine reports and correspondence using a computer, phone, or iPad.
Must have the ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
Must have the ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.
*Travel Requirements:*
The E&I Technician will work primarily out of the 1245 South Sixth Street Coshocton facility but will need to travel on occasion to the 545 Walnut Street, Coshocton facility and also to other company facilities, contract storage sites, vendors, or contractors depending upon tasks.
