JOB SUMMARY:
The Quality Assurance (QA) Specialist supports and assists with quality plans, objectives and policies designed to ensure continuous production/service consistent with established standards for the Bionetics Defense Engineering Services Group (DESG).
Coordinates with the DESG Quality function to ensure consistent application of Quality policies and assists with audits etc.
, as requested.
Provides quality support and other contract objectives as directed by the QA Manager, Program Management and/or the General Manager.
Additionally the QA Specialist supports the purchasing activity, proposals request for proposal activities, etc.
BASIC REQUIREMENTS:
Two (2) year Technical or Administrative Degree, or equivalent related experience required
Excellent English written and oral communication skills
Must possess good interpersonal, organizational and prioritizing skills
Demonstrable work history within a fast paced, demanding work environment
Competent with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word)
Must be able to qualify for and maintain a secret security clearance

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Manages processes that include but are not limited to customer surveys and analysis, quality planning, internal and external audits, product evaluations, corrective actions, quality records retention, metrics analysis process assessment and support for program management and quality systems
Collect Bionetics performance data, analyze, establish actions and monitor actions to enact continuous process improvements
Perform planning, estimating and budgeting for quality activities
Maintain AS09100 certification
Ensure all company and customer quality and performance objectives are met
NON-ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Perform other related duties as assigned.

WORKING/ENVIRONMENTAL CONDITIONS:
Normally works in an environmentally controlled work area.
Frequent and prolonged computer use may be required.
Some work will be in a manufacturing, repair, test, assembly environment where possible exposure to electrical, chemical and mechanical safety hazards are present.
Must be able to travel up to 80% of the time to support customer needs.
