What You'll Do:
The Electro-Mechanical Maintenance Technician performs in-process repairs of equipment during production and performs scheduled maintenance and repair of production equipment during machine service.
The primary function of this third shift opportunity is to safely keep equipment running efficiently to meet production goals.
You'll initiate and participate in the implementation of new processes or process improvements by troubleshooting and problem solving in a complex, highly automated manufacturing environment.
Reporting to the Maintenance Manager and working with the production team, you'll be responsible for the maintenance of high-speed manufacturing equipment to maximize the operation of production equipment.
1.
Routinely and proactively inspect production equipment.
Troubleshoot and prepare preventative maintenance recommendations and timelines.

Perform emergency maintenance on equipment as needed to minimize production downtime and maximize safety.
3.
Interpret and work from diagrams and equipment manuals to evaluate, analyze, and resolve operational problems.
4.
Interpret and work from wiring diagrams and PLC logic printouts.
5.
Work and communicate with individuals and groups within the manufacturing environment to identify and correct on-going problems which detract from the operations goal of zero production downtime.
6.
Apply knowledge of the standard practices, tools, equipment and materials to service and maintain equipment in a high-speed, food production environment.
7.
Remain current on training and updates.
8.
Complete any outside training courses as deemed necessary by the Manager in the agreed time period.
What You'll Need to Succeed:
High School diploma or equivalent.
Trade school or continuing education in engineering or electro-mechanical repairs preferred.
3+ years of experience in an industrial maintenance related position, preferable chemical or food process
Possess and demonstrate basic technical knowledge of the following Electro-Mechanical Maintenance skills:
3 phase wiring, 480V
PLC Wiring, Troubleshooting
Variable Speed drives, VFD, troubleshooting, replacement.
Pump repair, re-build
Pneumatics, hydraulics, PM’s
Pipefitting, stainless welding helpful
Sanitary, Clean room, CGMP's
OSHA 10, ISO
MS products, SAP ideal
