Southeastern Ohio oil and gas producer seeks a highly technical, driven employee that takes pride in his/her work.
This position requires an employee to maintain and operate wells and sales lines located on the borders of Muskingum, Noble and Morgan Counties between Caldwell and McConnelsville.
*Primary duties*
· Safely and efficiently maintain and operate conventional, vertical oil and gas wells and the sales lines daily
· Change recorder charts, read and record tank fluid levels and meter readings weekly
· Inform production manager and/or cooperate administrator when to schedule hauling of oil and water
· Report equipment failure, damage, leaks & issues with lease road/tank battery conditions to the production manager immediately
· Repair surface equipment, sales- and flowline leaks when needed
· Perform general preventive maintenance on production equipment, ATV’s and power tools
· Interact with non-company personnel
· Maintain professionalism and adhere to employee standards set forth by the corporate office
· Comply with vehicle/ATV and equipment use policies
· Perform additional duties or tasks as required
This position will generally be scheduled Monday through Friday, but on some occasions require weekend work.
Work involves exposure to seasonal climates and related conditions.
Employee reports to the Production Manager.
*Qualifications and Skills*
· At least 2-year experience, 5 years preferred
· Demonstrate the ability to operate and control wells and surface equipment (Compressors, pump jacks, small engines and gas lines)
· Heavy equipment usage experience
· High attention to detail monitoring gauges, taking measurements and accurately recording observations
· Communicate effectively
· Basic mathematical skills
· Troubleshooting problems
· Proficient in Microsoft Office Outlook and Excel
· Works well with others in a team environment and works for the greater good of the company
· Exhibits strong decision-making skills and manages time wisely and efficiently
· Experience operating/maintaining all-terrain vehicles(4-Wheelers), and power tools
*MUST PROVIDE YOUR OWN WORK TRUCK CAPIBLE OF NAVIGATING LEASE ROADS AND TRAILS AS WELL AS ACCOMADATE AN ATV IN THE BACK.

WORKING CONDITIONS
Work is normally performed outside where exposure to conditions of extreme heat/cold, fumes and gases is common.
The noise level is moderate to loud and includes sounds of construction, equipment operations, and trucks and like equipment.
Job hazards include working in normal light and heavy construction activities and working around pressurized gas, liquids, electricity, and waste lines and under all weather conditions.
Overtime is a requirement of the job.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS: Work normally requires finger dexterity and eye-hand coordination to operate a computer keyboard at a moderate skill level.
Work may require frequent pushing, pulling, or carrying 50 to 75-pound objects such as tools, equipment work operations.

Work involves sitting, standing, walking and driving (approx.
2 to 20 minutes between leases) on uneven terrain for intermittent periods of time during work schedule.
