The Role
We are seeking a knowledgeable and experienced Foreman to join our team.
The Foreman is responsible for supervising and leading a team of workers, and ensuring compliance with safety regulations, managing project timelines.
Our ideal candidate is self-motivated, goal-oriented, and driven to accomplish department goals.
This is an opportunity for a long-term position and to join a growing company.
The anticipated start date for this position is December 4th, 2023.
Openings are available anywhere in the continental US.
You will spend your first week in Youngstown, Ohio and will be traveling 85% of the time.
Responsibilities
Perform general construction tasks with a focus on concrete and electrical work
Oversee three-to-four-man crew
Safely operate and maneuver equipment trailers
Read and understand blueprints and sketches and build to specification instructions with precision and quality
Ensure job is coordinated from start to finish to maximize efficiency and safety
Provide detailed and accurate reporting of daily duties performed.
Preform restoration of areas where work has been performed (leveling, seed, and straw)
Ensure manpower and resources are adequate
Coordinate with other companies for heavy equipment and other essential supplies and working with other departments or agencies to ensure project completion
Maintain a clean and safe jobsite
Responsible for work outcomes that are assigned
Other duties as assigned
Requirements and Skills
Must be willing to travel nationwide up to 85% of the time
3 years’ experience as a construction foreman
Able read/understand blueprints
Possess a valid driver’s license with a good driving record
Possess basic computer skills including word, excel & email
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Exceptional critical thinking skills
Must be able to work in a variety of physical positions, like sitting, squatting, standing, walking, and driving
Must endure regular exposure to all weather conditions, including hot, cold, humid and rainy during all seasons throughout the year
May be exposed to uncomfortable or distracting sounds or noise levels on sites of projects being managed or coordinated
Must wear common protective safety equipment, such as safety glasses, gloves, hearing protection, hard hats and high visible vest when working on-site
