PRIMARY PURPOSE:
EZG Manufacturing is seeking a skilled Mechanical Electrical Maintenance person to join our dynamic team.
The maintenance person will play a crucial role in ensuring the functionality and reliability of our manufacturing equipment.
This position requires a combination of electrical expertise, mechanical expertise, troubleshooting skills, and a proactive approach to maintenance.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Specify and install electrical equipment for new equipment installations and facilities upgrades.
Perform routine mechanical and electrical maintenance on manufacturing equipment to ensure optimal functionality.
Troubleshoot and repair mechanical and electrical issues in a timely and efficient manner.
Perform preventative maintenance to all shop production machinery.
This includes checking oil levels, grease motors, changing filters on cooling system, checking the integrity of electrical connections, wiping out electrical cabinet and checking fittings and conduit.
Work closely with maintenance teams and production teams to coordinate maintenance activities, minimizing downtime and optimizing production efficiency.
Install, calibrate, and maintain electrical and mechanical systems and components.
Respond promptly to equipment breakdowns and prioritize repairs based on production needs.
Document maintenance activities, including repairs, inspections, and preventive measures.
Recommend improvements to existing processes and systems to enhance overall equipment reliability and performance.
Comply with safety regulations and company policies to maintain a safe working environment.
WORK SCHEDULE:
Work hours will be Monday through Thursday 6:00 am to 4:30 pm and Friday 6:00 am to 12:00 pm.
Available for call- in when required.
Flexible schedule for occasional night and weekend work is required.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
High school diploma or equivalent; Certification or Vocational school training on mechanical electrical principles and troubleshooting or a related field.
Proven experience as a Maintenance Electrician, Maintenance Mechanic or similar role in a manufacturing environment.
Strong knowledge of mechanical systems and troubleshooting techniques.
Strong knowledge of electrical systems, circuits, and troubleshooting techniques.
Familiarity with PLCs, motor controls, and industrial automation.
Ability to read and interpret mechanical schematics and blueprints
Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and blueprints.
Excellent troubleshooting skills and attention to detail.
Familiarity with PLCs and industrial control systems.
Knowledge of safety regulations and a commitment to maintaining a safe work environment.
