Reporting to the Production Logistics Planner, the Planning Analyst will assist with the design and implementation of raw material, manufacturing, and/or technology systems that will enable continuous process improvement within the warehouse.
The incumbent will participate in process improvement activities and will support plant manufacturing and administrative duties as assigned.

What you’ll be doing Inventory Performs the cycle count process for warehoused items.
Determines cycle count schedule for items.
Trains relevant operators to complete cycle counts at their level.
Standardizes the developed process.
Tracks and reports out on cycle count accuracy.
Supports the Production Logistics Planner in plantwide inventories to achieve a high confidence count every quarter.
Utilizes systems in SAP to aid in digitalizing cycle counts and inventories.
Scheduling/Planning Trains on the current planning process for all the various lines in the plant.
Provides support to production in areas of manpower planning, production planning, raw material utilization, etc.
Integrates operations with production planning: raw material flow, inventory, packaging, quality of material, GIP.
Covers occasionally for planning responsibilities and special item set ups on an as needed basis.
Warehouse Management System Communicates the transfers process on the floor level and supports the higher-level process and decisions.
Trains operators on correct entry, complete required transactions for spot transfers, support any technical aspects, and use of inventory knowledge to make decisions that will alleviate warehousing constraints.
Assists with onboarding the floor to SAP and providing timely support to complete a major milestone to our digital transformation efforts.
Looks for areas of opportunity to help automate processes, develop solutions, and gain support from others to complete sustainable change.
Serves as the plant resource for the Warehouse Management System Project.
Supports new product development (NPD) activities by setting up test items/transfers and supporting the creation/deletion of items in SAP as needed.

Other Administrative Duties as Assigned Coordinates work between maintenance and production including prioritizing the work and scheduling of production activities.
Coordinates with maintenance on activities and improvement projects within the warehouse.
Coordinates activities around major shutdowns and holiday periods.
Assists with resolving quality issues that arise at shipping/crating.
Brings issues to the quality leaders in the plant when an issue is found and support operators in ensuring we are putting safety and quality first.
Supports warehouse housekeeping efforts using Lean 5S principles.
Provides timely communications to Production, Engineering and Maintenance Departments regarding production improvements and changes.
What will make you successful Excellent knowledge of Excel and other Microsoft Office products.
Knowledge and intermediate user experience of an MRP/ERP system.
Knowledge and intermediate user experience of SAP Excellent communication skills (verbal, written and presentation).
Good organizational and time management skills.
Basic professional skills, business knowledge, and an awareness of the manufacturing process.
High School Diploma or GED required.
