Duties:
- Perform construction inspections to ensure compliance with building codes and regulations
- Carry out frame carpentry work, including measuring, cutting, and installing wooden frames for structures
- Hang doors and install hardware, ensuring proper alignment and functionality
- Apply plaster to walls and ceilings, creating a smooth and even finish
- Restore and repair damaged structures, including replacing or repairing damaged materials
- Assist with concrete forming, including setting up forms and pouring concrete for foundations or structures
- Install cabinets, ensuring proper alignment and functionality
- Apply caulk to seal gaps and joints in various surfaces
- Read blueprints and interpret construction plans to guide work activities
- Perform drywall installation and finishing, including taping, mudding, and sanding
Requirements:
- Proven experience in construction inspection and various construction tasks
- Proficiency in frame carpentry, door hanging, plastering, concrete forming, cabinet installation, caulking, blueprint reading, and drywall work
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately
- Excellent problem-solving skills to address any issues that may arise during construction projects
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team to complete projects efficiently
- Physical stamina and ability to perform manual labor for extended periods of time
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
